Help Hillside!
Hillside Animal Sanctuary recently opened a Charity Shop in Sheringham, Norfolk to help raise funds to feed almost 2000 rescued animals in their care.
On Saturday, when volunteer, Pippa, a 70 year old disabled pensioner was serving, heartless thieves robbed the shop.
While one thief distracted Pippa, the other rifled through the back of the shop and stole £140 in cash. There was a report of a similar incident in the road that day and police are hopeful that they can identify the pair from the street’s CCTV.
The stolen money would have bought around 25 bales of hay at a time when they are very short of grazing for the animals.
